the <wit> project was founded in 2019 by two young Latinas with untraditional tech backgrounds who were troubled by the limited access they experienced as they embarked on their careers as software engineers. In navigating these difficulties, they realized that community was the most effective way to stay committed, celebrate authenticity, and most of all, create a sense of belonging for themselves and other women in this field.
Our community at the <wit> project embraces individuals underserved in the tech industry and empowers them to unleash their potential by becoming leaders in social change.
We're looking for emerging leaders who are passionate about dedicating their time, talents, networks, and resources to raise awareness and support for the <wit> project's mission as it seeks to embed women into tech, and tech into nonprofits.
As an Associate Board Member, you'll have the unique opportunity to serve as advocates for the <wit> project’s important work, while advancing personal, professional, and leadership goals.
