the <wit> project was founded in 2019, with the aim to connect young female technologists with non-profits in need of technology solutions. Our mission is to make tech inclusive for all. We do this by bringing together teams of female technology students to help our non-profit partners implement the software solutions they need.
We are looking for a Head of Programming to drive forward the educational portion of our program. The education portion of our program runs for 8 weeks in the fall and will serve 12 underrepresented, female-identifying CUNY students in 2020, with the goal of exponentially growing this number in the future.
As Head of Programming, you’ll be responsible for designing curricula from a higher level, engaging with our mentors and tech leaders, and working directly with our students. The ideal candidate will utilize both their experiences as an engineer and as a teacher in a bootcamp like setting. We are a small organization with a BIG goal, and the ideal candidate will be committed to our team and mission. To learn more about our program journey, please review this document.
